Spring Large Ensemble

Join us for a lively evening of music from the ChiArts Wind and String Ensembles and Chorale. On Thursday, March 29 students will preview contest selections for the upcoming CPS Large Ensemble Festivals and debut an exciting collaboration between the String Ensemble and Chorale. The Wind Ensemble will perform Prairie Songs, a delightful pair of Wisconsin folk song commissioned for the state’s sesquicentennial celebration while the chorale takes inspiration from abroad with a trio of South African songs. The Spring Large Ensemble concert kicks off ChiArts’ spring performance series; music lovers prepare for an evening of variety and fun!
